Today over 40 factored homeowners occupied Scottish Government’s Housing Department offices to demand that GHA factored homeowners be given full refunds in relation to overcladding work already carried out. This is because other factored homeowners in other housing associations are now getting the same overcladding done for nothing or for a small nominal sum. We are demanding that the Scottish Government/GHA refund all 24,500 factored homeowners in Glasgow for all overcladding work carried out. From this point on we will be intensifying the campaign and intend to demonstrate outside the home of the GHA Chief Executive Martin Armstrong in the near future.
For all GHA factored homeowners who have paid for the overcladding and want refunded, they should contact Sean Clerkin on 07948-010959 and come to the next Glasgow Homeowners’ Campaign meeting on Thursday 20th June at the Jury Inn Hotel, Jamaica Street, Glasgow, at 7 p.m.
